Because the wedding began at 4:00 PM while the sun was still strong, Annie also applied sunscreen and carefully built the complexion to help reduce slipping, patchiness and colour change during the event.

A lightweight base prepared for a sunny outdoor wedding

Skin protection first Since the celebration started at 4:00 PM, Annie added sunscreen before makeup to help protect the client’s skin from the remaining afternoon sun.

Thin but stable complexion The base was applied in controlled layers to maintain a natural appearance while improving adhesion and reducing the risk of foundation slipping in warm weather.

Makeup and hair in 90 minutes Annie completed both makeup and hairstyling within approximately 90 minutes, allowing the client to prepare comfortably inside the resort.

The client wanted makeup that felt light on the skin rather than heavy or mask-like. Annie therefore focused on careful skin preparation, a thin complexion, controlled coverage and a polished finish suitable for wedding photography.

The foundation stage received particular attention because heat, humidity and outdoor movement can cause makeup to separate, become uneven or appear darker over time. The goal was a fresh result that still looked refined throughout the wedding celebration.
